I would like to thank you for your unwavering support of the Detroit Lions this season. You are a vital component to the success of our franchise. Collectively, you and all of our fans continue to be the inspiration behind everything we do.
It was a productive year for our organization both on and off the field. On our way to a NFC Wildcard Playoff berth, we had a 6-2 record at home with many exciting late-game finishes in which our team demonstrated incredible heart. These wins were aided by the electric atmosphere our fans maintained for a full 60 minutes.
We enjoyed receiving positive feedback from many of you on new elements of the fan experience including the Detroit Lions Cheerleaders, DTE Energy Power Hour, new activities at the Pride Plaza tailgate, a bolstered sound system and even our blue end zones. I hope you’ve also heard that Ford Field WiFi has been upgraded with quadrupled capacity and is in the final phases of testing. We are committed to continuously enhancing your experience and always looking for ways to improve. I encourage you to share your suggestions and input with your account representative.
Looking ahead, we anticipate a great season in 2017. Bob Quinn, Jim Caldwell and their staffs are hard at work this offseason to improve our football team.
Our plans for 2017 also include an approximately $100 million investment from the Ford Family into the stadium. You will be hearing about new videoboards, an all-new sound system and major renovations to several areas of Ford Field in the coming weeks. We’ll also be unveiling all new uniforms on April 13 and are eager to share them with you. Stay tuned.

$100 Flash Seats Incentives
Pay-in-Full / Flash Seats $100 Incentive
All Lions Season Ticket Member accounts are eligible to qualify for a great incentive; $100 in Ford Field Funds. Ford Field Funds can be used in-stadium for concessions and merchandise purchases at any 2017 Detroit Lions home game.
To qualify for this incentive, you must pay your invoice in-full by 3/8/2017 AND you must choose Flash Seats as your delivery method. To opt-in for Flash Seats, click the “RENEW NOW” button above and answer “YES” to the Flash Seats opt-in question during the payment process. Qualifying accounts will receive their Ford Field Funds via mail prior to the first 2017 Lions home game.
About Flash Seats
Flash Seats is the Lions digital ticketing system. When choosing Flash Seats as your ticket delivery method, no paper tickets are issued. Patrons with Flash Seats enter the stadium via the Flash Seats mobile app on a smartphone, or through any ID registered to your Flash Seats account. NFL Playoff Opt-in Opportunity
In accordance with NFL post season ticketing policies, all teams are required to offer Season Ticket Members the option to opt-in to purchase 2017-18 playoff tickets prior to the start of the 2017 season.
This offering is simply an option to commit to purchase playoff tickets now, rather than waiting until November. There is no incentive for opting in for playoff tickets now versus waiting until November.
HOW IT WORKS
- By clicking the below checkbox, you are authorizing the Detroit Lions to automatically charge the credit card you use to renew your 2017 season tickets in the event that a home playoff game is clinched
- No charge will occur unless a home playoff game is clinched
- If you do not enroll for playoffs at this time, you will be given another opportunity to do so in November
